Overview

When people think about sources of greenhouse gases, buildings probably aren't the first thing that come to mind. But they account for 6.4% of direct greenhouse gas emissions globally, and 13% of emissions in the U.S. This includes things like burning fossil fuels for heat, using certain products, and handling waste. This is yet another opportunity to rethink a vital part of our daily lives and make strategic changes that will reduce the amount of carbon in our atmosphere.
